Planet Tatami: Many people are saying that you train at American Top Team, is this true? How is your Jiu Jitsu training in there?

Melvin Manhoef: I went to train there last summer to improve my Jiu Jitsu skills. Training there, with guys like JZ & Calvin was a great experience. JZ is a good friend of mine. He teaches me a lot on the ground and I teach him some things standing when I’m there. I see ATT as my second gym and all the guys are great there.

Planet Tatami: Would you like to fight in the UFC?

Melvin Manhoef: Of course everyone would like to fight in the UFC at the highest level . But that is not on my mind now, I’m happy with the K1.

Planet Tatami: Who do you think will win: Anderson Silva or Dan Henderson?

Melvin Manhoef: It ‘s difficult because they are both all round fighters. Anderson Silva’s standing skills are a little bit better, Dan Henderson's wrestling and ground skills are better. But it’s still a fight, they both got a good punch. If I had to choose I think that Anderson Silva has the best chance.

Planet Tatami: Do you have any thing else you would like to tell your fans?

Melvim Manhoef: Thank you very much for this interview. I will keep on training hard and I will not let my fans down.
