Josh Thomson to Return in August

Speaking with PDG, Josh “The Punk” Thomson says he will be returning in August to face Gilbert Melendez in Strikeforce. Here is a portion of what Thomson had to say:

“I am in the last week of going easy on my repaired ankle and then next Thursday I will see the doctor again for some x-rays and hopefully I will be cleared to go 100%. Gilbert is coming off his victory over Rodrigo Damm and I will be ready to fight him in August.”

As of yet, no date or location has been released by Strikeforce for an August event. Stay tuned for updates.
