UFC 109 “Relentless” Post Fight Presser Notes:
Dana White:
- When isn’t there some kind of bad blood involving Tito Ortiz? Mark Coleman just fought the most important fight of his career and Tito is talking shit to him while Mark is trying to do his post fight interview. Obviously Tito is back.
- Paulo Thiago is at the top of the 170 lb division as far as title shot contention goes.
- Demian Maia is definitely back in the title shot picture.
Randy Couture:
- I will keep plugging away at this fight game and I will fight whenever the UFC calls and the opportunity is right.
Matt Serra:
- Joe Silva does a great job with his match-making and I hope to fight in New York when the UFC finally holds an event there.
- I worked a lot with my trainers on stand-up combination's and even some head kicks because although I am short I have great flexibility.
Chael Sonnen:
- I hate complimenting guys in this industry but I listen when my coach talks.
- I would walk into traffic with Randy Couture and so I would talk the same smack about Mark Coleman as I did before the fight again.
